Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2
Frédéric Chopin · guitar tab
Chopin's most loved nocturne, arranged here for guitar in E major, the key of Tárrega's own guitar version (the piano original is in E-flat): a long, singing melody over a gently rocking bass, with a more ornate return and a hushed coda. It is in 12/8, written here as two 6/8 bars to the bar. The ornaments are left out, and the free cadenza before the end is shortened. About three minutes.
