Terms of use
TabCraft is a free tool for writing music, turning it into guitar tab and hearing it played. By using it you agree to the short rules below.
Your music
What you write in TabCraft is yours. Please only load, convert, save or share music that you wrote, that is in the public domain, or that you have permission to use. If you bring in music someone else still holds the rights to, you are responsible for that, not TabCraft. The examples are arranged from public-domain or openly licensed scores, and each one shows its credit.
Share links
- When you press Share link, your piece (its notes, title and composer) is saved on our server, and anyone who has the link can open it. It isn't listed or searchable.
- Don't share music you don't have the right to share.
- A link stops working if nobody opens it for a year, and the piece is then deleted.
- We may remove any shared piece at any time, and we remove pieces promptly when a rights holder asks. See Copyright and takedowns. We may stop sharing from people who repeatedly share music they shouldn't.
Using TabCraft
- TabCraft is free to use today. Some features, such as PDF export without the watermark, may become paid later.
- Please don't try to break the site, overload it, or use it to harm others.
- What we do with your data is described in the Help page.
No promises
TabCraft is provided as it is. We work to make the tab correct and playable, but we can't promise it is free of mistakes or always available, and we aren't liable for losses from using it. Keep a copy of anything that matters by exporting a file. We may change these terms; the latest version is always on this page.
