Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1

Johann Sebastian Bach · guitar tab

The opening bars, as TabCraft shows them. Open it to hear it played, follow along, slow it down or change it.

The most famous of Bach's solo cello pieces, and a guitar favourite: a single line of flowing sixteenth notes that outlines the harmony as it goes, in G major. Written for a cello's open strings, it sits naturally on a guitar's, so it's a lovely piece to follow in the tab. Play it at the cello's own pitch, about two minutes.
